The Les Pahiers Hike is a fun little adventure in Crans Montana that largely passes through the forest, but offers some views of the surrounding landscape. It is quite flat and presents no difficulties, taking you to a nature area that has been set up near the Briesses pond. This place is dotted with small ponds that will allow you to get to know the fauna and flora of the wetlands found at an altitude of 1,400.
Getting there
To reach Crans-Montana by car, take the exit of the A9 motorway (Rhône motorway) called "Sierre ouest". At the motorway exit, turn left and follow the signs for "Sierre". At the roundabout, turn right. Continue for 1640ft, then at the entrance to Sierre, turn left following the signs for "Crans-Montana". The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Crans-Montana, follow the signs for la Moubra.

Route Description for Les Pahiers Hike
Setting out from the trailhead next to Etang de la Moubra, you will make your way into the forest and follow the path to the southwest. Take your time to enjoy the easy-going nature of this walk and the peaceful woodland surroundings.
Eventually, the trail will turn back toward the northeast and climb slightly uphill, passing by a small pond and continuing through the forest until you arrive back at the starting point of the walk.
