Selsley Common Walk Description

The Selsley Common Walk is a lovely journey through the hilly terrain of The Cotswolds that will leave you feeling relaxed and fulfilled after spending the day on the trails. While there is a small amount of elevation gain along the route, there aren’t any overly steep sections that you will need to be concerned about. In fact, the side trails that branch off from the main path offer a good variety of terrain, enabling you to make your adventure as easy or challenging as you see fit. Make sure to wear comfortable walking footwear for this quick outing.

Setting out from the roadside parking area, the trail will take you to the southwest to begin the gradual climb up the hillside of Selsley Common, providing you with a stunning sightline that encompasses nearby villages, farmlands, rolling hills, and forests. You will also be able to spot the waters of the Bristol Channel off in the distance to the west. Follow the path as it loops around the hilltop for a few different perspectives of the surrounding landscape before heading back down the hillside to the northeast on the return to the starting point of your walk.
