High Arches and Ute Valley Park Loop Description

The High Arches and Ute Valley Park Loop is a wonderful trail through granite outcroppings, meadowlands, and under arches. With ample scenery to explore, this trek is anything but dull! Note the terrain can get quite slippery after rainfall, so mind your footing and wear sturdy footwear! On top of this, sections of the route are unmarked and primitive, so consider using the trail GPS to easily navigate your hike!

Your exciting adventure along the High Arches and Ute Valley Park Loop beings from the Vindicator Trailhead. From here, you hike head southwest along the Ute Valley Park Trail. The path will quickly guide you into the white-rock garden, diverting southeast. As you wander through the outcroppings, you will be granted views of the cityscape below and the meadowlands. Soon you will reach the arches—a natural rock formation that bridges over the terrain, providing the perfect setting for a photoshoot! Revel in the arch and continue tracking the path to an intersection.

At the junction, take a sharp left turn, and you will be diverted onto the High Arches Trail. This route will gradually climb, heading northwest. Eventually, you will be delivered back to the trailhead, marking the end of your adventure.
