The Edna Mae Bennett Nature Trail is a unique adventure through Palmer Park that will surely impress all of its adventurers. Located near the downtown area of Colorado Springs, this nature park is a great escape into the fresh air which warrants epic scenery and mountain views. Explore the unique geological features that jut from landscape and get some steps in while you do it. Adults and children alike will enjoy the stimulating scenery and sculptures that the park has to offer. Note there are several trails in the area and some lack proper signposts—use the trail GPS to easily navigate the route.

Embark on your adventure along the Edna Mae Bennett Nature Trail from the North Cañon Trailhead. From here, track the Palmer Park Trail northeast, hooking onto the Edna Mae Bennett Trail. Track the Edna Mae Bennett Nature Trail north, through the outcroppings and spires. At the end of the route, turn right onto the Templeton Trail, hiking south. You will meet your turnaround point at the intersection just before Lazy Land Road.

Retrace your steps along the Templeton Trail all the way back up to the junction with the Edna Mae Bennett Nature Trail. Head southwest down the path, and at the next intersection, take the North Cañon Trail south, back to the trailhead.
