Pothole Point Trail Description
The Pothole Point Trail is an easy 0.6mi loop with incredible views. This trail doesn’t get a lot of shade, so be sure to wear a good sunhat, lots of sunscreen, and bring along lots of water. Don’t forget the camera, the overlook at the end of this trail gives you a great view of the Needles formation that this district of Canyonlands is named after. This short hike is kid-friendly and a great way to get out and explore the Utah desert with the whole family.
From the trailhead, follow the cairns marking the rocky trail all the way to the overlook.
Take some time to enjoy the incredible vistas from this vantage point before completing the loop back to the trailhead. If you are looking for more adventures in the area, check out the Slickrock Trail or the Confluence Overlook Trail nearby.
