Cave Spring Trail Description
The Cave Spring hike is an incredible window into the human history of Canyonlands. This hike is short but moderately challenging. Hikers will have to climb two ladders along the trail so come prepared with proper hiking shoes and an adventurous spirit. The Cave Spring trail passes by a series of caves, petroglyphs and pictographs from thousands of years ago, and a preserved cowboy camp with artifacts from the 1800s. As with any piece of history in this area, please do not touch or deface any of the incredible artifacts along this trail. Let’s work together to keep these relics in good condition for future generations to appreciate.
From the trailhead, take the path on the left to hike the trail clockwise. This hike is a loop, so you will eventually wind up back where you started.
If you are looking for more to do in the area after you are done with your hike, check out the Roadside Ruin Trail nearby.
