Being so close to the highway, the Many Springs trail is a great place to stretch the legs and take a break from the road by walking a great interpretive trail. It is located near the Elk Flats Group Campground, which is a great access point to many Kananaskis Trails.

Getting there
The Many Springs trail is located off of the Trans-Canada Highway at exit 114 between Canmore and Highway 40. Take the exit from the Trans-Canada Highway and head north towards Seebe on the 1X. Turn left towards Elk Flats campground. Continue past the campground and turn left to the Many Springs day-use area.

Many Springs Hike Description
From the day-use area, follow the clearly marked trail for 656ft before reaching a junction. Stay right and hike the loop counterclockwise. After 0.6mi, you will come to the viewing platform that offers excellent views. Take your time here before continuing along the trail for the final 1969ft back to the parking area.
