Getting there
To get to Jura Creek Trail from Canmore, take Highway 1A eastbound, passing the turn for Grotto Canyon. Continue for roughly 3.1mi to the Jura Creek parking area, which is well signed.

The slot canyon section is an exciting 492ft–656ft segment that makes a great feature for children. The trail can stay icy into the spring, so it is a good idea to always be prepared for slippery sections where there might be water normally.
