Echo Canyon Trail Description

Hiking to Echo Canyon begins near the industrial area of Canmore in the Cougar Creek region. From the visible path on Ridge Road, follow the trail to join Horseshoe Loop Trail and travel north for 2297ft before reaching a junction and heading east. Make the curve in the trail and follow the straight and clear path to the canyon. The canyon is often busy with rock climbers, with little out-and-back foot traffic. Be sure to mind the space on the canyon walls for climbers as you travel through it. Reach the depths of the canyon before turning around and returning the way you came to the parking area.
