Tower Bridge Trail Description

The Tower Bridge Trail is a fantastic hike in Bryce Canyon National Park. This trail is moderately challenging with a consistently steep descent to Tower Bridge that turns into a consistent ascent on the way out. Be sure to wear proper hiking footwear and bring along a set of hiking poles if you’d like some extra support. This trail can become icy in the winter, so we recommend bringing along a set of traction devices, such as microspikes, if you are hitting the trails at that time of year. From the Tower Bridge Trail, you will get a fantastic view of the Chinese Wall, a stunning formation of red sandstone hoodoos that contrast against the vibrant, bright blue Utah sky.

To hike the Tower Bridge Trail, begin at the Fairyland Loop Southern Trailhead and follow the path eastward. At the divide, take the trail on your right to head a short distance to the Tower Bridge Viewpoint.

Take a rest at the viewpoint and catch your breath before turning around and retracing your steps back to the trailhead where you began.

If you are looking for more to explore, this hike is just a short section of the Fairyland Loop.
