The Navajo Loop to Peekaboo Loop Trail Description

The Navajo Loop to Peekaboo Loop is an awesome trail to explore in Bryce Canyon National Park. Sections of this hike are occasionally closed due to treacherous conditions in the winter months, so be sure to check the NPS conditions report before heading out. Parts of this loop can be quite strenuous, so wearing proper footwear is essential, and make sure to bring snacks and lots of water. With five miles of trail to explore, the Navajo Loop to Peekaboo Loop is a fantastic way to spend the day adventuring in Bryce Canyon National Park.

From the trailhead, follow the path past Sunset Point to a divide. At the divide, take the path on the left to follow the Navajo Loop clockwise. The trail will eventually fork at the Navajo Loop Benchmark, so follow the middle path to the next divide, then take a right followed by a left to follow the Peekaboo Loop clockwise. Stay right at the next divide to complete the Peekaboo Circuit. After completing the Peekaboo Loop, head north up to the Navajo loop and follow the Navajo loop back to the trailhead where you began.

If you find yourself finishing this hike later in the day, we recommend stopping at Sunset Point before heading home to catch some incredible views of the sun setting over the Utah horizon.
