Rim Trail, Navajo Loop, and Peekaboo Circuit Description

The Rim Trail, Navajo Loop, and Peekaboo Loop Hiking Circuit is a wonderful tour of Bryce Canyon National Park. This trail is quite long and moderately challenging throughout, making proper hiking footwear, sun protection, and lots of water essential items for this hike. We also recommend bringing along a set of hiking poles to provide support on the steeper sections. If you are looking for a way to spend the whole day playing and exploring in Bryce Canyon National Park, the Rim Trail, Navajo Loop, and Peekaboo Circuit is the trail for you!

To hike the circuit, begin at the Under the Rim Trailhead and make your way northwest along the Under the Rim Trail to hike the circuit clockwise. At Sunset Point, take the Navajo Loop Trail and head southeast to the Navajo Loop Benchmark. At the Navajo Loop Benchmark, take the trail straight ahead, then follow the right hand path past The Cathedral, the Hindu Temples, and the Wall of Windows Benchmark to a divide in the trail. At the divide, take the path on the right to follow the Peekaboo Loop Connector Trail as it curves southwest to the junction with the Under the Rim Trail. At this Junction, stay right once again to follow the Under The Rim Trail back up to the trailhead where you began.
