Tramline Trail Description
From the Station Restaurant, cross the street and join the Tramline trail. There is a connector to the village and local hotels, so you can ask your accommodation what the best route is. Make your way through the forest and up towards the magical Lake Louise.
You’ll cross the Bow River immediately, followed by Louise Creek, Lake Louise Drive, and Moraine Lake Road. The trail is highly easy to follow and very well-signed. Once you arrive at Lake Louise, enjoy the viewpoint and take in the scenic view. We suggest continuing to the left of the lake following the trail to the Fairview Lookout for the full Lake Louise experience.
Spend some time visiting the grounds of the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise Hotel and surrounding area before heading back. If you are tired or on a time limit, there are free shuttles that can bring you back to the village.
