While this adventure is okay to meander year-round, you’ll want to head out early in the morning to beat the heat in the summer! Be sure to bring a lot of water. There’s no protection from the sun at the top, so bring a hat and sunscreen whenever you take on the Garstin Loop Trail!
Setting out from the Garstin Trailhead, you’ll follow the Garstin Trail for about 492ft before veering right to kickstart the circuit portion of this hike. You’ll reach Cahuilla Peak before the halfway point, but continue meandering around for more vistas of Palm Springs and the surrounding scenery!
