Twin Lakes Hiking Loop Trail Description
What is better than hiking around one picturesque lake? Hiking around two of course! Take some time exploring the natural beauty of Umpqua National Forest while meandering along the shoreline of the beautiful Twin Lakes.
Setting out from the trailhead at the Twin Lake Resort, you will make your way south to begin the loop around South Twin Lake. Enjoy the views across the water, as you round the lake to its north end, where you will find a trail branching off on your right.
Taking this path, you will make your way north to the North Twin Lake, keeping left at the junction to work around its shoreline in a clockwise direction. After taking in the views and arriving back at the junction, turn left and continue south to return to the resort where you began your adventure.
