Clear Creek Wash Description
he Clear Creek Wash trail is an unmaintained, low-traffic trail just off of route 9. This trail has lots of features for kids to climb on and explore and is a great option if you want an easy, adventurous hike away from the crowds of the main canyon. This trail is not maintained and does not have any fresh water sources, so wear good, sturdy shoes, and (as always) bring lots of water along with you.
From the parking pull off on route 9, head south into the wash. The trail heads west along the dry creek bed starting with a beautiful meandering slot canyon.
There are not many opportunities to get lost on this trail, simply follow the wash for the next mile until the trail makes its way back up to the road. At this point, turn back and follow the same path back to the parking area.
