Coffeepot Rock via Teacup Trail Description
If you’re looking for an easy hike with classic red rock views, the Coffeepot Rock hike is an awesome pick. This loop is fairly short and sweet and easy enough for kids and beginners. You can easily add in a hike up the Sugarloaf summit too if you’re wanting another viewpoint.
From the Sugarloaf Trailhead, head north on the obvious trail. Stay right and then left. The trail splits soon after. We like going right here to save an impressive view for the return right. Stay left where another route intersects and ten rejoin the upper arm of the trail as you hike to the base of Coffeepot. Check out Snapping Turtle Rock and then hike up to the end of the trail.
From the top of the pot, retrace your steps to where the trail splits and stay right. Take in the impressive view here and then continue to the trailhead to complete your hike.
