A quick and easy adventure in Cairngorms National Park that will be fun for the whole family, the Parkin’s Moss Trail can easily be done in a few hours, offers some lovely views of the surrounding area, and features laidback terrain to explore.
Setting out from the car park, you will head across the road and make your way to the southeast, winding your way along a figure-8 path that will take you through beautifully atmospheric woodlands and intermittent stretches of boggy terrain. After completing the entire loop and arriving at the northeastern point of the route, you will come to an area where the trees are somewhat thinned out and offer a lovely view of Loch kinord.
