Getting there
To reach the trailhead for the Morgan Hayes Covert Forest Circular Walk from Colyton, drive southwest on Sidmouth Road for 0.2mi and continue straight onto New Sidmouth Road for 2.6mi. Make a slight right onto A3052 and follow it for 0.5mi, turning right to arrive at the parking area.

Morgan Hayes Covert Forest Trail Description
Although it doesn’t offer any stunning vistas, the Morgan Hayes Covert Forest Circular Walk is a great trail that will allow you to disconnect from the outside world to relax and get in touch with nature. Setting out from the trailhead, you will enter into the dense cover of the forest with open farmlands just out of the tree cover to the right. After reaching the northeasternmost part of the trail, you will gently descend the hillside and loop back to the southwest, once again making your way through the serene woodland atmosphere on the way to the trailhead.
