Combe Martin Walk Description

Walking the Combe Martin Circular Trail is a fun adventure that will allow you to explore the rugged terrain along the coast in Exmoor National Park; however, the tradeoff is being able to experience some beautifully scenic views across the Bristol Channel. There is a fair amount of uphill walking along this route, so be sure to wear a proper pair of walking boots for comfort and traction.

Setting out from the car park, you will make your way out of the village of Combe Martin and climb uphill to the northwest for some spectacular views overlooking the water that stretch out to South Wales on a clear day. From here, you will follow along the edge of the cliff and traverse the scenic viewpoints atop Little Hangman and Great Hangman, before turning to the south across the open countryside. Eventually, the trail will turn back to the west and take you downhill through some picturesque farmland on the edge of Combe Martin. Make your way through the village to return to the car park where you started your adventure.
