This simple trail is a great way to see the town. The Townsite Trail is a leisurely stroll that makes its way around the entire town of Waterton. If you stay in town, be sure to take this trail to get acquainted with your surroundings.
Getting there
The Townsite Trail has no proper trailhead as it circumnavigates the town on a paved path. From anywhere in town, you can join the paved trail. The best places to find this trail if you are driving are the Marina or Cameron Falls.

Townsite Trail Trail Description
The Townsite Trail follows the lakeshore around Waterton. You will pass by Cameron Falls, Upper and Middle Waterton Lakes, and many small green spaces and local landmarks. Keep your eyes open for spotting wildlife as you make your way through the historic town. This is a great trail to wind down after a long day.
