Getting there
To get to the Eastbourne Downland and Beachy Head Walk from the center of Eastbourne, head northeast on Seaside Road/A259 toward Cavendish Place and turn left at the first cross street onto Cavendish Place. In 0.3mi, continue onto Upper Avenue and turn left onto Commercial Road. In 0.3mi, your destination will be on your left.

The Eastbourne Downland and Beachy Head Walk is a captivating path along the white-chalk cliffside that borders the ocean below. The path begins at the Kiosk Cafe, which shortly boasts views of the beautiful ocean beneath. You will come across Beachy Head Lighthouse, where you will encounter a steep climb. You will see the World War II Bomber Command memorial, which sits atop of Beachy Head. Continuing, gazing out at the ocean will display views of Seven Sisters, Birling Gap and Cuckmere Valley.
In the next few miles, you will have to navigate a few gates, and you will end up in sheep country. Following the sign for the South Downs Way, you will come across a few more steep slopes and then find yourself right back at the Kiosk Cafe where you began.
