Cascade Falls Trail Description

This 0.9mi hike is a great way to stretch your legs and feel the exhilarating power of the 984ft Cascade Falls. You’ll be able to hike up onto the mountain and stand next to the impressive falls. From the parking lot, follow the wide gravel path that leads across the grassy meadow. This path is very straight-forward. You will follow this until you reach the base of Cascade Mountains. A great view of the falls will be clear on your approach.

Continue on the trail into the trees, where you will pass an avalanche caution sign. The trail becomes quite steep from here, gaining elevation quickly, but not for long. The trees will start to clear, and you will pass by old avalanche debris and down trees. The trail will narrow before it turns onto a rocky area with multiple paths. Choose a well-defined path that will take you to the base of the waterfall.

Enjoy views of Mount Rundle across the valley while you take in the rushing water of Cascade Falls. Return the way you came after a restful break at the falls.
