North Cascades National Park
North Cascades National Park are one of America’s most iconic national parks. Famous for the jagged peaks and over 300 glaciers, this park also has pretty rivers, waterfalls and abundant forests. While much of the park is inaccessible, this is exactly why many people love it.
The North Cascades are underrated. Receiving 1% of the number of visitors to nearby Olympic National Park, there is a lot t o explore in North Cascades National Park – namely 500,000 acres of beautiful mountains and old growth forests.
The North Cascades are famous for their epic hiking, and trails like Maple Pass Loop or Hidden Lake Trails are spectacular. Better yet, find a weekend and go backpacking on one of the number of great backpacking paths. There is also great local kayaking and climbing, which take advantage of the rugged nature of the park.
