Yellowstone Snowshoe Adventure Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Mammoth and Take an Orientation Hike
A shuttle will meet you at the Bozeman airport and drive you to Mammoth to begin the tour.
In the afternoon the guides will take you out on a short hike on the Upper Terrace Loop to get you accustomed to your snowshoes. Enjoy your first glimpses of this winter wonderland!

Day 2 Springs and Viewpoints Walk
Your snowshoeing adventure today will be to Calcite Springs and the Tower Falls Overlook. On this trail, you’ll find spectacular views over the shimmering snow and steam rising from the waters of the springs against the mineral bleached cliffs. What a sight!

Day 3 Snowshoeing on the Blacktail Plateau
Today you’ll be sharing a cross-country ski trail as you take the Blacktail Plateau Trail. You’ll have beautiful views of the snowy landscape stretching across the valley. This is also a great place to look for signs of wildlife like deer, elk, marmot, or rabbits.

Day 4 Bunsen Peak and Chico Hot Springs
You’ll love snowshoeing through the forests and meadows of the Bunsen Peak Loop. The forest is exceptionally calm and peaceful in the snow.
After your hike, you’ll be driven to your new accommodations at Chico Hot Springs. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the outdoor hot pools that are naturally heated.

Day 5 Last Snowshoe Excursion and Return to Bozeman
