Day 1 Arrival at Athens Airport

Explore the ancient city center and enjoy your first evening in the Plaka area.

Day 2 Walk & Dine in Athens
The tour starts on Syntagma square. First you meet the Evzones on Syntagma, then you walk through the National Gardens to the Olympic Stadium, Kalimarmaro, where you may follow an audio tour including a visit to the well-hidden catacombs. Then it’s on to the temple of Zeus to the rooftop restaurant of an excellent hotel for a cold starter whilst enjoying views on the Acropolis and the temple of Zeus.
Continue along the Dionysos theater and the Acropolis museum and ascend the sacred rock of the Acropolis. Descend into Plaka for our hot starters in a typical traditional Greek tavern. Along the Roman and Greek Agora you walk through the oldest parts of the city to the restaurant in Thission for your main dish in an excellent restaurant with a show kitchen. For your dessert, you have to walk the final short stretch of this interesting trip and come along the Kerameikos and then the final section of another 5 minutes to Thissio for the dessert. In this area you will find lots of trendy bars and cafes in case you still have energy to continue the day.

Explore the White Mountains and walk at an altitude of 1,300m gazing at the white peaks surrounding you. On the south coast, you walk through beautiful gorges. It’s just wonderful!
