Walk amid the medieval remnants and charming villages spanning Umbria's countryside
Traverse Umbria, "the green heart of Italy," where mouthwatering local cuisine and medieval remnants dot the lush landscape. While this seven-day self-guided tour from Assisi to Spoleto encompasses Italy's famed quirks, it also provides a meaningful, thought-provoking spiritual twist.
On this walking tour, you'll meander across the faded footprints of St. Francis. In the 12th century, he abandoned materialistic luxuries when God's voice echoed in his mind. This resulted in living in poverty and a massive spiritual awakening. St. Francis walked this route, sharing his newfound wisdom to the villagers. And now you'll have the chance to walk the same path on this tour.
