Walk the coast of Sardinia from Buggerru to Sant’Antioco
The Sardinia Coastal Walking tour takes you along the breathtaking coast of Sardinia, where you can trek from beach to forest to dune and immerse yourself in the unique culture of the island along the way.
The Sardinia Coastal Walking trip begins in Buggerru, a former mining settlement from the 1800s where stunning ocean views will be waiting to greet you. You’ll walk along the beautiful landscape of the coast to Portixeddu, where you will have breathtaking views of the beach and the chance to visit some historic military forts. Then, the Sardinia Coastal Walking tour will lead you to an ancient mining site, as well as vast dunes, where it’s just you, the sand, and the sea for miles. Walk to Capo Pecora for expansive views of the sea from a granite promontory, before watching surfers catch some sunset waves in the village of Portixeddu.
You’ll hike along the high cliffs above the sea and trek under ancient watchtowers. Then, a boat will whisk you away to Sant’Antioco, where you’ll fish, horseback ride, or explore archaeological sites. At the end of the Sardinia Coastal Walk tour, you’ll already be wondering when you can return.
