Olympic and Cascades Adventure Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Seattle and Let the Adventure Begin!
Arrive in Seattle and meet your guide by mid-morning for transfer to Olympic National Park. You’ll kick things off with a short afternoon hike along picturesque Hurricane Ridge for dramatic views of the Olympic Range.
In the evening, you’ll set up camp at Sol Duc Campground, get to know one another, and tuck into a briefing on the days of adventure that lie ahead.

Day 2 Paddle on Lake Crescent and Hike Hoh Rainforest
This morning, you’ll pack up and head to the stunning Lake Crescent for a serene morning paddle on its beautiful waters. Keep your eyes and ears peeled for birds overhead as you take in the dramatic landscape. After your kayaking adventure, you’ll drive to the Hoh Rainforest for a walk through the dense, lush landscape.
Tonight, you’ll set up camp on Kalaloch Beach, one of the most beautiful spots on the entire peninsula.

Day 3 Rock Formations and the Tree of Life
Today is dedicated to exploring the coast! After a leisurely morning, you’ll set out on a coastal hike to see the massive rock formations along the water, and visit the famous Tree of Life. You’ll learn all about the aquatic wildlife in this one-of-a-kind location where massive conifers grow right up to the water’s edge.

Day 4 Emmons Glacier
After packing up camp, you’ll make the drive off the peninsula and head to Ashford, at the base of Tahoma (Mount Rainier). You’ll stop for lunch along the drive (not included) and will settle into your camp at White River, just inside the park’s entrance. Depending on timing, you may be able to take an optional walk along the river and out to the foot of the vast Emmons Glacier. You’ll enjoy a hearty camp cooked dinner tonight before settling down beneath the stars!

Day 5 Yakima Park and Views of Mount Rainier
Today is your most challenging hike as you’ll head up to the stunning Yakima Park (Sunrise) area! If the mountain is feeling generous, the views that you’ll see of the massive Tahoma are unparalleled throughout the day, and are sure to take your breath away. Even on overcast days, though, the park’s wildlife and rocky landscape are jaw dropping. You’ll cover about 8 miles with some challenging elevation as you hike into rugged alpine landscapes and back down through beautiful meadows.
After your day, you’ll have one final group meal back at camp – and a toast to your adventure!

Day 6 Explore Seattle
After a short morning walk, you’ll pack up camp and head back to Seattle to explore the city. Today’s activities may include a visit to Pike Place Market, the Chihuly sculpture garden, or one of the many Regional Tribal Cultural Centers. Hotel accommodations are included, so you’ll enjoy a very well-deserved shower today! This evening, you’ll enjoy a final group dinner together (not included).

Day 7 Departure Day
