Day 1 Cross the Arctic Circle
Begin your journey by sailing out of Kangerlussuaq Fjord (Søndre Strømfjord), a 190-kilometre-long fjord surrounded by mountains and glaciers. Cross the Arctic Circle on your way and spend time on deck watching for aurora borealis. Kangerlussuaq, the settlement at the head of the fjord, is a former US Air Force base.

Day 2 Take a Zodiac Cruise at the Foot of a Glacier
Kangerlussuatsiaq means “the rather big fjord” in Greenlandic, while the Danish name Evighedsfjorden translates to “the fjord of eternity,” underscoring its vastness and seemingly never-ending nature. See why Kangerlussuatsiaq Fjord lives up to its name and marvel at this complex coastal waterway that includes calving glaciers, sheer bird cliffs, and streams cascading against a towering mountain backdrop. Explore this sublime glacial landscape by ship and by Zodiac. The waters here are relatively warm, due to the West Greenland Current and the subarctic location.

Day 3 Visit Museums, Shops, and Cafés in Nuuk
Stop in at vibrant Nuuk, the capital of Greenland. Visit the Greenland National Museum, one of the city’s many outstanding features, where the world-famous Qilakitsoq mummies rest. The old harbour includes many buildings dating from Danish colonial days, while contemporary Nuuk is known for art, shopping, pubs, and cafés.

Day 4 Learn From Inuit in Their Homeland
Deepen your understanding of the environment, cultures, and history of the region as we sail across the Davis Strait towards Labrador. Get the privileged opportunity to engage with and learn from Inuit in their homeland. Enjoy workshops and presentations, watch a documentary, and get out on deck! Try your hand at athletic feats during an interactive cultural performance of Inuit games. Day 5-8 Hike the Mountainous Tundra and Spot Wildlife in Torngat Mountains National Park
Spend four days exploring an area of treeless, mountainous tundra in Torngat Mountains National Park, where some of Canada’s highest peaks east of the Rockies are found. Enjoy your time hiking, visiting archaeological sites, and Zodiac cruising. Here, Inuit of Nunatsiavut will be your guides in their spiritual homeland. The park is seen as a portal for better understanding Inuit culture, with the name Torngat derived from the Inuttut word tongait, meaning “place of spirits,” where Inuit shamans connected with higher powers. Be on the lookout for marine mammals, polar and black bears, caribou, falcons, and eagles.

Day 9 Ponder Poignant History in Hebron
Step back in time to the historical site of Hebron, which preserves a Moravian Mission station dating from the 1830s. Visit the old church, where Inuit residents in 1959 learned they would be forced to relocate. Read the plaque commemorating this history and the apology issued by the Newfoundland and Labrador government in 2005. Listen to stories shared by our guides and meet former Hebron residents and their kin who continue to visit the site and hunt and fish nearby.

Day 10 Experience Inuit Culture in Nain
Visit Nain, the most northerly community in Labrador and the administrative capital of Nunatsiavut. Stop in at the historic Moravian church, enjoy the vibrant brass band, and visit Illusuak, the stunning cultural centre. Expect a warm welcome and the opportunity to peruse arts and handicrafts at this dynamic visit. This will be your first chance to see trees since the start of your journey!

Day 11-12 Enjoy Hiking and Zodiac Cruises Along the Labrador Coast
Explore the southern Labrador coast, where you’ll find a diverse geography of coastal barrens, high subarctic tundra, high boreal forest, mid-boreal forest, string bog, and islands. We’ll make the most of every opportunity to hike and Zodiac cruise alongside our expedition team. Day 13 Immerse Yourself in Viking Archaeology at L'Anse aux Meadows
Wander through the reconstructed Viking habitation at L’Anse aux Meadows, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the only authenticated Norse settlement in North America. Learn about the archaeological remains that date to approximately 1000 CE, and how the site was first discovered in 1960 by a close reading of the Viking sagas. Visit the superb interpretation centre and meet the actors in period costumes as you explore the reconstructed Norse-style sod buildings.

Day 14 Marvel at Breathtaking Vistas in Terra Nova National Park
Explore the wonders of Canada’s most easterly national park, where the land meets the sea in a stunning display of natural beauty. Visit the park’s visitor centre and dive into the mysteries of the ocean through touch tanks, marine exhibits, and aquariums. Located along the Newman Sound portion of the Terra Nova Migratory Bird Sanctuary, the visitor centre offers the perfect vantage point to spot fascinating shorebirds. Take a stroll along one of the park's scenic trails, accompanied by our expert expedition team who will offer interpretations of the surroundings.

Day 15 Wave a Fond Farewell in St. John’s, NL, Canada
Welcome to St. John’s, the vibrant capital of Newfoundland and Labrador. Complete your journey by sailing into historic St. John’s harbour, looking out for Signal Hill as you enter the world-famous Narrows. Photograph the charming houses of the Battery, always a hit with shutterbugs. Say your farewells in this cultural hotspot, sometimes called North America's oldest city.

Accommodation on Greenland and Wild Labrador Expedition
This tour is based in staying onboard a spacious cruise vessel that features twenty Zodiacs, and advanced navigation equipment. A doctor, paramedic, medical clinic, and enhanced health regime offer peace of mind. Roomy facilities offer comfortable travel with plenty of breathing room for all.
The standard category provided for the price listed is Category 1, however, there are lots of options to choose from with a supplement.
Single Rooms and Solo Travellers
Rooms are double occupancy. There is a limited number of cabins without single supplement charge (from category 3 to 7), however, any other categories or once the free-upgrade single cabins are sold, the single supplement fee will be 1.5-2 times the berth cost.
Cabins
Quadruple cabin (Category 1)
These cabins are approx 240 sqf, located on deck no. 4 and are interior. They consist of four lower berths. Enjoy a private bath with amenities such as a hair dryer, bathrobe, towels, body wash, and hair care products. The cabin will also have an intercom, telephone and flat screen TV.
Triple Cabin (Category 2)
These cabins are approx 200 sqf, located on deck no. 4 and are interior. They consist of three lower berths. Enjoy a two private baths with amenities such as a hair dryer, bathrobe, towels, body wash, and hair care products. The cabin will also have an intercom, telephone and flat screen TV.
Double / Twin Cabin (Categories 3, 4 and 5)
These cabins vary by size (from 100 to 120 sqf) and consist of two lower berths. The standard ones are interior, however, for a supplement you can upgrade to a cabin with an exterior view (via pothole) or a main view (with a picture window and unobstructed view). All cabins have ensuite baths, intercom, telephone and flat screen TV.
Upgraded Double / Twin Cabin (Categories 6, 7 and 8)
Choose an upgraded double or twin room based on your preferred size, type of berths (double or twin), deck level and types of windows and views. Cabin view options vary from pothole windows, to picture windows with unobstructed views. These cabins vary in size from 135 to 190 square feet and have numerous amenities.
Junior Suite / Suite Cabin (Category 9 and 10)
These cabins are 270 - 310 square feet., have matrimonial beds (bigger than double, but smaller than a queen size) and have sitting areas in addition to numerous other amenities. Junior suites have picture windows with unobstructed views while suites have forward-facing picture windows with unobstructed views and are a little bigger. Suites also have a full tub and refrigerator.
