Cycling the Selkirks and Kootenays Itinerary
Day 1 Arrive in Colville
You can meet the shuttle at the Spokane airport or your Spokane hotel this afternoon. After the transfer to Colville, you’ll get settled at the hotel and will have time to prepare your bike for the journey.

Day 2 Cycle Into the Mountains
This morning, you’ll be dropped off at the China Bend boat lunch where you’ll begin your ride. Cycle the quiet roads northward across the border into Canada. You’ll be travelling into the Kootenays on your way to the mountain communities of Rossland and then Nelson where you’ll stop for the night.

Day 3 Scenic Cycle to New Denver
Begin your ride along the beautiful Kootenay Lake as you travel north through the spectacular mountains. Take a break in Ainsworth, where you can opt to visit their natural hot springs before riding on to New Denver.

Day 4 Ride Along Upper and Lower Arrow Lake
Cycle through the dramatic peaks of the Selkirk and Monashee mountains as you find your way to Nakusp on the shores of Upper Arrow Lake.
Follow the tranquil lakes down to Lower Arrow Lake and end the day in the little village of Fauquier.

Day 5 Cross Lakes and the Monashee Mountains

Day 6 Welcome to the Okanagan

Day 7 Ride South to Osoyoos

Day 8 Cycle Across the Border
