Classic Inca Trail Private Trek Itinerary
Day 1 Our Inca Trail Adventure Begins
At 4:30 a.m., the adventure starts with a transfer to Piscacucho (Km 82), where the Inca Trail begins. After crossing the Vilcanota River, the trek passes through the cloud forest, offering views of the Inca fortress Huillca Raccay and Patallacta ruins. Ascend to the scenic Urubamba mountain range and admire the snow-capped W'akay Willca peak before setting up camp near Wayllabamba.

Distance: 11 km (6-7 hours approx.)

Day 2 Into the Sacred Mountains
A 5:30 a.m. wake-up leads to the most challenging day, ascending to the highest point of the trail, Dead Woman's Pass. After resting and taking in the stunning views, descend to the lunch stop at Pacaymayu. The second ascent leads to the Runkurakay pass, where camp is set for the night.

Day 3 The Inca Trail to Wiñay Wayna
After breakfast, trek gently uphill to Phuyupatamarca, "The City Above the Clouds," with its stunning views and Inca baths. Continue descending along Inca steps to reach Intipata's agricultural terraces. Arrive at Wiñay Wayna by lunch, with time to explore the archaeological site nearby.

Day 4 The End of the Inca Trail and Arrival at Machu Picchu
Wake early for the final stretch, walking 1.5 hours to the Sun Gate (Intipunku) for the first sunrise view of Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided two-hour tour of the iconic archaeological site before descending to Aguas Calientes. After lunch, take the train back to Poroy and continue to Cusco.
