Trek the English Way trail in Spain from Ferrol to Santiago de Compostela

Whether you are looking for a pilgrimage or just a unique walking tour in Northern Spain, look no further than the 8-Day Self-Guided English Way. Also known as the Camino Ingles, this pilgrimage is a wonderful way to see some of the highlights of Northern Spain.

Follow the traditional pilgrim route of the Camino Ingles from the port of Ferrol to the legendary city of Santiago de Compostela for the experience of a lifetime.

The English Way, or Camino Inglés, got its name because pilgrims coming from England and other parts of northern Europe arrived in Galicia by boat, typically at the port of Ferrol, and began their pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela from there.

Today the route passes through gorgeous rural countryside and a variety of small towns and villages. The religious heritage of the region is clear as you pass many ancient monasteries, churches, chapels, and stone crosses called cruceiros. Complete your journey with your Pilgrim Passport and you will receive an official Compostela (pilgrim certificate) when you arrive in Santiago de Compostela.

This incredible self-guided tour allows you to move at your own pace without worrying about planning accommodations, luggage transfers, and most meals. Your focus is on the journey, not the details. Book your English Way adventure today!
