- Q: What are guests most surprised about when visiting Bolivia?
- A: When we pass through the more remote villages in the mountain regions of Bolivia, they are very surprised to see how the local communities live in these places. They’re surprised by the difficulty of the seasons, how they cook, and all the traditional methods they have for different aspects of their lives.
- Q: Where do you like to travel on holidays?
- A: To the beach of Mexico! Bolivia is a landlocked country.
- Q: What do your guests say they like best about the tours you lead?
- A: What my guests say cannot really be measured in words. My biggest satisfaction is when they make it to the summit. The tears of pride, happiness, and amazement speak volumes. I love when they hug me and thank me for helping them get there.

- Q: What are guests most surprised about when visiting Bolivia?
- A: They are surprised about how authentic Bolivia is, how the country kept its culture in every corner. We are a very diverse country and I am proud to say that we managed to mix the modernity and the present with our past and culture.
- Q: What has been your most unforgettable experience while guiding?
- A: Once, I arrived in La Paz with a group of guests and I was planning to take them to a viewpoint. I asked them to close their eyes and only open them when we arrived there. When they saw the view over the city, it was sunset time, the colors in the sky and reflected on the mountains were so incredible that they started crying. I felt so touched to see travellers crying in front of the beauty of my city.
- Q: What is one local dish or drink that tourists have to try while visiting Bolivia?
- A: Without any doubt the salteña. It is a local snack similar to the empanada. It’s juicy and filled with meat and eggs and we eat it in the middle of the morning. It really identifies us, it is impossible to come to La Paz and not try the salteña.
