The Tower Falls Trail is a popular route in Yellowstone National Park. This short trail brings you to a viewpoint overlooking the falls which drop 132ft down Tower Creek. The Tower falls trail is steep in some sections, but overall a family-friendly hike that is appropriate for most kids.

This trail begins at the Tower Falls Trailhead just behind the Tower Fall General Store on Grand Loop Road.

Tower Falls Trail Description
The Tower Falls Trail is a lovely hike in Yellowstone National Park. It should be noted that this trail does not bring you to the falls themselves but to a viewpoint overlooking the falls. The Tower Falls is an incredible 132ft waterfall that drops down Tower Creek, a tributary of the Yellowstone River. Be sure to bring a camera with you on this hike to capture some incredible photos of these impressive waterfalls.
To hike to the tower falls overlook, begin at the Tower Falls Trailhead and follow the path for just 0.1mi. The trail continues on from the overlook for another 0.3mi to Tower Creek, but most folks just turn back after stopping at the overlook for a few photos.
