Shoshone Lake via Delacy Creek Trail Description
The hike to Shoshone Lake via Delacy Creek is a lovely route in Yellowstone National Park. This trail can get buggy in the early summer. If you are hiking in June or early July, bring along some bug repellent or wear long layers to combat the mosquitos. Shoshone Lake is a wonderful place to go for a family picnic and just kick back and relax and enjoy the Wyoming wilderness with loved ones.
Beginning at the Delacy Creek Trailhead, follow the path along the east bank of the creek all the way to Shoshone Lake.
If you are looking for a campground at Shoshone Lake, the closest site is located on the lakeshore, just west of Delacy Creek.
Enjoy your time relaxing at Shoshone Lake. Then, when you are ready to head home, simply retrace your steps back to the trailhead where you began.
