Lamar Valley Trail

To hike the Lamar Valley Trail, begin at the Lamar River Valley trailhead, cross over the Lamar River and follow the path south for approximately 1.4mi to a divide. Stay left to continue southeast for 1.7mi to a second divide here; take the trail on your right to hike the last half mile to Cache Creek.

At Cache Creek, you can either turn around and head back to the trailhead or set up your tent at one of the nearby campsites for a peaceful night under the stars.
