Swauk Forest Discovery Trail Description
The Swauk Forest Discovery Trail is a very pretty hike that requires minimal effort, so choose it if you’re on the hunt for excellent views but want or need an easy trail. This hike is especially great in the fall when the colors are at their best.
This hike is a loop and you can do it either way. Just make sure you don’t take the spur trail that heads southeast from the southeastern end of the loop. If you start switchbacking, retrace your steps to the junction. If you’re fine with a bit of added distance, you can actually follow this trail- it loops back to the main route.
