Snow Lakes Trail Description

Snow Lakes Trail is a fairly quiet hiking or backpacking route that leads to three lakes tucked underneath the Temple. It’s longer and more demanding in terms of elevation gain, so choose this trek if you want more effort involved in your adventure.

Begin from the trailhead, crossing the creeks and jumping right into a set of steep switchbacks. Even out to a traverse through a valley and then climb a bit more gradually along the valley wall. Crossing the creek, you’ll follow the water to the first of the lakes, Nada. Hike past Nada and in between Upper and Lower Snow Lakes. You can go all the way to the far end of Upper Snow Lake before turning back and retracing your steps or finding a good spot to set up camp.
