Lake Lillian Trail Description
Lake Lillian is a pretty spot, and hopping nearly up and over Mount Margaret on the way makes for a fun and challenging trip. You can also access Rampart Lakes using this trail, so the options for continual exploration are definitely there.
Begin from the trailhead, hiking up the steep face of Mount Margaret. It’s fairly straight up with a few narrow switchbacks to help you up the ridge. You’ll be able to look down on Margaret Lake as you traverse the ridge just under the summit. Drop down the other side of the ridge past Twin Lakes and then continue past Lake Laura to Lake Lillian. Your trip out ends at the lakeshore, and your trip back follows the same route.
