Willowbrae to Half Moon Bay Trail Description

The hike to Half Moon Bay is a rewarding trek through the rainforest along a wooden boardwalk that will allow you to reconnect with nature and enjoy the sights and sounds of this beautiful West Coast landscape. The route passes through the beautiful forest and descends to the beach along a seemingly endless series of wooden stairs. Elderly or less-mobile hikers might find this section challenging as there are many stairs, and they can be steep in places.

Once you exit the forest and get out onto the beach, you will be greeted with expansive views of the sandy white beach, strikingly blue water, and rugged coastal landscape. The stairs may be a bit of a grind; however, the picturesque views from the beach are absolutely worth the trouble.
