The Amberley Walk is a picturesque area of the South Downs National Park. Stunning greenery can be seen throughout and the path provides a bit of a challenge with some uphill walking. This path is suitable for children as well as dog walkers to get out and explore.
Getting there
To get to the Amberley Walk from Arundel, head southeast on High Street toward Maltravers Street and turn right. Turn right onto New Cut and then turn left onto London Road. Turn right onto London Road/A284, at Whiteways Lodge Roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto B2139. In 2.7mi, turn right onto Mill Lane and arrive at your destination.

Amberley Walk Description
The Amberley Walk is a beautiful stroll in the South Downs National Park that boasts stunning views of the greenery that surrounds this area. There are also captivating views of the valleys that lay below. The path provides a bit of a challenge to those who walk it and has some uphill areas to get your heart pumping. Beginning at the car park, you will head into the path and be surrounded by vibrant greenery.
Throughout the path, continue to follow the markers and take in the beautiful scenery present for about the first hour of the journey. In the wetter months, be mindful that this area can get quite muddy, so ensure you are prepared with appropriate walking boots as the mud can get up to shin level in some parts. Continue to follow along the path, and you will arrive back at the car park where you began, as this is a circular path.
