Hixon Falls Trail Description
The Hixon Falls Trail makes for a fantastic family-friendly adventure! Pack your swimsuit, towel and make a day out of revelling in a roaring waterfall backdrop while you swim in the deep pool. From the actual parking lot, it only takes around 820ft to reach the falls. When you get to the bottom, you can climb along the rocks, but take care as they can be slippery. After, hike back up and go down an additional path for another 656ft or so.
When you’re driving in, ensure you keep left at each “Y” to avoid a forestry trail that winds to the back of the falls.
