Murhut Falls Trail is an easy-moderate hike perfect for families and beginners. This hike leads to a gorgeous waterfall in the green forest. There are slippery sections near the falls, so keep an eye on small children.
The hike begins from the roadside trailhead. The elevation gain is consistent but mild and the trail is well-maintained. There are no intersecting trails or junctions, so it’s very straightforward to reach the falls. Enjoy the towering canopy of trees and the tall ferns.
At the falls, enjoy the cool mist and spend some time searching for newts. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can climb up a bit of a muddy and rooty path to a cave by the falls. When you’re ready, retrace your steps to the trailhead.
