Spectrum Lake Hike Description
Spectrum Lake Hike in Monashee Provincial Park is a lightly trafficked, family-friendly trail that reaps a jackpot of all rewards: a lake tucked into mountainous scenery. The path is easy to follow as it is the only one visible from the parking lot. It’s narrow but not technical!
However, despite the easy-going path, the road leading up to the trailhead is tough. It’s suggested to drive a 4×4. You can take your car, but know that you’ll be travelling along a busy logging road.
You can also split this 8.1mi hike into two days by making it a backpacking trip. Spend the night at the ever-so scenic Spectrum Lake Campground.
