Slieve Croob Walk Description
Featuring breathtaking views and a nice uphill climb that isn’t overly difficult, the Slieve Croob Walk is an excellent option if you are looking for a low effort/high reward adventure. Even though you will be walking uphill, the terrain here isn’t very steep, making the route suitable for walkers of most skill levels.
Setting out from the car park, you will head to the northeast and almost immediately begin working your way uphill. The incline will be gradual at first, although it will steepen as you gain elevation along the trail. Eventually, you will reach the summit of Slieve Croob, where you will enjoy views of the Irish Sea and a number of peaks to the south. After taking in the views, simply head back downhill along the same route to return to the car park.
