The Ardress House Walk is a quick and easy adventure in County Armagh, Northern Ireland that will take you around the grounds of an historic country house. While out on the trail, you will make your way along a lovely woodland path to take in views of the 17th Century Ardress House and its surrounding farmland. Walkers should take note that this walk does pass through a National Trust site and will require you to pay an entrance fee.

Ardress House Walk Description
A perfect walking route for the autumn season, the Ardress House Walk will lead you through a lovely stretch of woodland landscape with views of a grand country house and surrounding apple orchards. This short walk is perfectly suited for all ages and skill levels.
Setting out from the trailhead at Ardress House, you will be able to take in some beautiful views of this 17th Century building that was originally built as a farmhouse and was later transformed during the Georgian period. From here, you will make your way to the northeast and enter into the cover of the forest, following the trail as it loops around the grounds and offers intermittent views of the surrounding apple orchards. Eventually, you will arrive back at the trailhead where you began.
