The Cadman's Pool and Fritham Forest Trail Description
New Forest’s Cadman’s Pool and Fritham Forest Walk takes you through three different inclosures: Islands Thorns, Sloden, Holly Hatch, as well as Eyeworth Wood. Therefore, you won’t be short of tree-filled views! Near the start of your walk, you’ll pass Holly Hatch before continuing around the loop, eventually meeting up with Fritham, where you’ll pass the Royal Oak, a great place to stop for a lunch stop! After, you’ll pass by Eyeworth Pond before making your way back to your car. This walk includes plenty of stunning sights!
While it’s recommended to take on this figure-8 walk in the spring to see the leaves growing on the trees, it can be a bit boggy and muddy during this time, especially near Holly Hatch Cottage. Therefore, proper footwear is necessary.
