Lower Tower Arch Trail Description
The Lower Tower Arch Trail is a short little hike to an impressive 92ft-long sandstone arch. The drive to the trailhead is along a rugged, unpaved road; having a vehicle with good clearance and four-wheel drive is an asset. The trail itself is shared by hikers, mountain bikers, and OHV/ATV drivers, so be aware of your surroundings and let folks on wheels pass you by. This trail sees little traffic, so it’s a great place to go and find some peace and solitude in the Utah desert.
From the Tower Arch Trailhead, follow the path for 0.3mi as it curves northeast to Tower Arch.
Take a moment to rest in the shade of this stunning sandstone formation before turning around and following the same path back to the trailhead. If you are up for more adventure, you can continue hiking eastward from here along the Tower Arch Trail to the Marching Men and beyond.
