Pike of Blisco and Crinkle Crags Walk Description

Although challenging, the Pike of Blisco and Crinkle Crags Walk is a popular route with fell climbers that don’t mind a rough day on the trails that will see them ascend and descend a series of rocky peaks. The trail sets out from the car park and heads to the southwest, climbing up the hillside along Redacre Gill on the way to the summit of Pike of Blisco. After enjoying the views, walkers will then descend the hillside, only to climb back uphill to the west toward the rocky and undulating peaks of the Crinkle Crags. After traversing this rugged stretch of trail and taking in the views of the fells that spread out in every directions, you will once again descend the hillside, passing by the rushing waters of Whorneyside Force and walking along Oxendale Beck for the return leg of the journey back to the trailhead.
